The U.S. has maintained its unchallenged position as the world’s sole military superpower not least because it essentially owns the world’s skies when it comes to air warfare. With stealth jets, smart bombs, laser-guided missiles, and the highly-trained pilots to guide them, America’s air-warfare hardware is considered by most to he unmatched.
